How to use your Help Scout docs as knowledge base

The use of help docs as a knowledge base is available for Business and Enterprise plans. To import your Help Scout help docs, simply head over to the settings page and enter your Help Scout API key. You can learn how to find that key here.


Once you click the submit button, SupportAgent will fetch your Help Scout sites and your sites will appear on the knowledge base page.

Click "Import" for the sites you would like to import. This action will start the import of all the articles from your chosen site.

By default, once a site is imported, it becomes available to all mailboxes. If you want to choose which mailbox can use which help sites, head over to the mailbox settings page and select the sites you want to use.
